Axis Syllabus Tools for Movement Research and Contact Improvisation
This workshop applies functional anatomy concepts and principles to solo movement research and shared contact dancing. We'll give special focus to the use of the shoulder girdle and hip joints for more aligned, powerful and expansive movement.

The Dance
- wear comfortable and clean cloth, long pants, long sleeves
- knee pads recommended

Guidelines
- keep spoken conversations to a quiet minimum during dance sessions
- kindly don't use your phone inside the dance studio
