This 3-hour experience explores the psychology behind dating burnout not as bad luck, but as something patterned and understandable.

We are not here to give swipe tips but instead help you understand what your nervous system keeps choosing unconsciously.



What to Expect:

A relaxed, lounge-style evening with digestible psychology, honest conversations, perspectives you probably have not heard spoken out loud, and a structured closing exercise that helps you leave with a clear dating strategy.

Maximum 30 participants to keep it intimate and interactive.


Part 1: The Psychology Behind Your Dating Patterns

What you are really after (even if you do not realise it)

We will explore:

  • Adult attachment styles in modern dating
  • Why certain personality types feel magnetic
  • Nervous system activation vs secure attraction
  • Why we repeat familiar emotional dynamics
  • The difference between preference and psychological need
  • How unresolved wounds influence attraction
  • Fantasy bonding vs genuine compatibility

Through guided reflection and small group conversations, you will begin to see your own pattern more clearly, with insight.

Because dating burnout is often not about “too many bad people.” It is about unconscious repetition.


Part 2: Redesigning Your Dating Strategy

From insight into behavioural recalibration

Awareness alone does not change behaviour.

In this section, you will:

  • Define your personal dating philosophy
  • Clarify non-negotiables vs preferences
  • Learn what secure attraction actually feels like
  • Practise listening to your nervous system instead of chasing intensity
  • Get started on an included sustainable emotional pacing strategy

You will leave with a practical framework not vague inspiration.

About Lou, founder of The Conscious Mind.
Lou is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who believes that real healing happens when insight is embodied, not just understood. Her approach goes beyond talk therapy, integrating neuroscience, evidence-based modalities, and experiential work that engages both the mind and body.

Lou designs treatment plans that address emotional, cognitive, and somatic layers of experience. Each process is personalised, helping clients release long-held emotional patterns, regulate the nervous system, and rebuild a secure sense of self.

Her work blends Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Clinical Hypnotherapy, CBT and Psychodynamic principles to bring awareness into action. Techniques such as guided imagery, somatic awareness, inner-child work, and emotion processing exercises are used to help clients move beyond mere understanding, toward actual, felt change.

Lou’s therapeutic process supports clients in:

  • Healing trauma and attachment wounds held in the body
  • Regulating overwhelming emotions and anxiety responses
  • Rewriting core beliefs that drive self-doubt or unworthiness
  • Reconnecting with intuition and self-trust
  • Cultivating a calmer, safer, and more integrated inner world

Outside of individual therapy, Lou also facilitates psychoeducational workshops and group experiences designed to deepen emotional intelligence, resilience, and connection.

Her guiding philosophy is simple: healing is not a single event, but a return to wholeness.
