To be creative is to own your Life Power and actively play a part in the manifestation of your personal reality. We are inherently Creative Creatures designed to express, made to create Life.
Conscious Creativity means to be mindfully, or Heartfully aware of our intentions and how we align our emotions, thoughts, energy and actions to amplify and manifest what it is that we dream and desire.
The alternative is ‘unconscious creativity’, which occurs as a default mechanism. Carl Jung famously said;
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct
your life and you will call it fate,”
What we don’t examine about ourselves continues to operate in the background of our lives and influences the circumstances of our daily experience and the quality of our encounters and relationships.
It is this unaddressed space which has come to be called the ‘Shadow’, which we can refer to as the Shadow of Conscious Creativity. It is felt as apathy, distraction, resistance, doubt, and can be witnessed by our own self criticism, fear, refusal to move forwards or seen in how we sabotage our lives.
As we become aware of our resistance, a choice opens up to move in a different direction. From this moment forwards, we start to consider and get excited about what’s possible without the constraints of the past.

As we become more Conscious in The He~Art of Creation / in The Art of Living, we deliberately unfold our reality from our awareness, feeling, vision and intent in an integral way.

ABOUT GUY BARRINGTON:
Guy has deep roots in conscious movement, music, and embodiment practice, with over 30 years of experience in personal development and facilitation. He has a strong contemplative and psychological framework informed by Jungian shadow work, attachment theory, somatic traditions, and spiritual psychology. He is also active djay as DJ Colibri, curating music for Ecstatic Dance Journeys and Conscious Movement events.
