You are hereby invited to a very special evening of music, singing and sacred cacao in the beautiful room of Karuna Meditation Studio on Frb/Cph. Mamas of Pearl and Moia, are two different musical duos that Veronika Stalder(CH) have together with her two friends and colleagues Karin Streule(CH) and Annette Odimer(NO/DK). This special evening the two duos are united as a trio. It will be a special reunion after our first concert in trio last year in Switzerland. It is so rare to meet the three of us - we look forward so much to bring our song medicine together in harmony to the nordic singing tribe!
This will be a celebration of the sacred water and mama nature, and you are welcome to sing with us, or just sit back, receive and enjoy.

Make sure to eat light beforehand. Wear comfortable loose-fitting clothing. Bring a water bottle, your favorite cup for the cacao. There are also pillows and mats available in the room.

We will enjoy ceremonial cacao of the highest quality – 100% natural and organic, grown sustainably. Raw cacao is one of nature’s plant medicines and is rich in minerals, especially theobromine, which supports circulation and the heart, often referred to as having a “heart-opening” effect. Cacao is also full of antioxidants and considered a superfood.

MAMAS OF PEARL’s is a musical duo consisting of the two songwriters and solo artists Veronika Stalder from Switzerland & Annette Odimer from Norway/Denmark. The bedrock of MAMAS of PEARL’s musical collaboration is the symbiosis of music, nature and healing. Their musical universe is strongly inspired by nature and our right to be free sovereign human beings. Alongside their resonant voices, MAMAS OF PEARL’s instrumentation consists of guitar, harmonium and shamanic drum and violin. The concerts of MAMAS OF PEARL's have a ceremonial frame and are a mix of concert and singing together with the audience.
The name MAMAS OF PEARL, is inspired by mother of pearl, which is the name of the substance inside a shell that is said to be the belly of the pearl, protecting it from outside pollutants and parasites. MAMAS OF PEARL‘s vision is to be like the mother of pearl of both their musical co-creation and their audience; to create a beautiful protective and musical space where healing and heart expansion can take place.

MOIA is a Swiss women’s voice duo consisting of the two solo artists Veronika Stalder and Karin Streule. The duo is creating heart-opening folk and medicine songs designed for community singing. MOIA provides concerts to sing along, singing circles and voice retreats. They released three albums and are in production of a 4th one this year. Their CDs and songbook. Frauenkraftlieder Band 1‘ sell throughout Europe.
