Rachel is an artist, coach and Trustee for Mind. Her passion lies in exploring the intersection between creativity, wellbeing, and coaching. An advocate for the healing benefits of creativity she paints daily as a personal prescription for wellbeing and uses it as a tool for enhancing curiosity. Sharing what she has learnt with individuals and organisations is a key part of her practice.Join her in a seasonal painting experience working with flowers freshly picked from the gardens at the Hay Barn.
Rachel will be sharing her creative practice and coaching you through ways in which you can weave creativity into your life no matter what your chosen career path. Working at pace with acrylics you will create a number of abstract florals to take away and some tips on how your life and work can be enhanced with this fifth pillar of wellbeing. This workshop is for beginners and seasoned artists alike.
BioRachel is a Renaissance woman working in the arts but having spent over three decades in senior business development roles spanning a diverse range of organisations from a global partnership, private company, central government body to a national charity. She brings a unique blend of commercial and coaching experience to her painting experience which has also benefitted from the academic rigour of an MA in Fine Art (Chichester University), Foundation Diplomas in Art and Design (West Dean) and Art Psychotherapy (Roehampton) in addition to being graduate of the Newlyn Art School Mentoring Programme. In 2025 she completed a two year residency at Cabilla, a temperate rainforest in Cornwall and participated as a Wildcard on Sky Landscape Art of the Year and was featured in Episode 2.Rachel has exhibited at The Affordable Art Fair, The Other Art Fair, Manchester Contemporary Art Fair and in galleries across the South-East and South-West. She often works to commission for individuals and interior designers and has artwork in private collections both at home and abroad.
