Connections that Count

Uniting WA, along with sponsors MinterEllison & HLB Mann Judd, invite you to join them for a fun and impactful evening of ‘Connections that Count.’

Join us for food, drinks, conversation and impact. With a theme of 'Supporting West Australian women in crisis', this pitch-style event (think Shark Tank) will present three unique Uniting WA that each support vulnerable women in different ways. You'll hear from three Uniting WA teams who will each make their pitch for your cote. Using the three sonation tokens included in your ticket price.

You will hear from the following programs;

• Moorditj Yorga - a support program for First Nations women who are at risk of experiencing or have experienced family and domestic violence. The program includes weekly workshops which aim to inform and empower women, providing a safe space to share their experiences, stories and ideas.
  
• The Together Program - An innovative three-year pilot, supporting pregnant women who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness, together with their babies, with accommodation, essential medical and health services and other holistic wrap-around support tailored to their individual needs.
  
• Wyn Carr House - A transformational project to provide a supported transitional accommodation facility and wrap around support for up to 12 older women who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
