Parents of children who have been treated at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago are invited to join us join us for Connections Pediatric Cancer Caregiver Support. This in person event will be held on site at Lurie Children's Hospital; dinner and parking passes will be provided to all attendees. January Topic: Rediscovering Yourself
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, life changes dramatically. One of the initial transformations we experience is a profound shift in our sense of self. As we focus on caregiving, it's easy to lose sight of our own identity, making it overwhelming to consider "what's next." This month, we will explore who we are after our child's diagnosis and what we hope for ourselves as we move forward.
This event is FREE to attend. Session content provided by Momcology. Dinner provided by fundraising from your Lurie’s Hem/Onc/SCT nurses & nursing assistants.
