About this Event
Come to Maryhill Burgh Halls for the second talk in our new monthly series Connected Community.
Join Karen as she explores the women who helped to create and shape Scotland. Her talk will showcase the country's artists, doctors, architects, activists and academics.
Come along to learn something new and enjoy soup and a sandwich.
Dr Karen Mailley's main research focus is related to gender and the built environment in Scotland since 1880. She has been published in The Scottish Society for Art History, The Decorative Arts Society Journal, Decorating Dissidence, EPOCH Magazine, The Bottle Imp and Historic Environment Scotland.
We don’t want cost to be a barrier to participation, therefore we are offering a range of pricing.
Please choose the one that is most relevant to you. All donations go directly to Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust (Scottish registered charity number SC036089) and allow us to provide a greater range of community events, accessible to all.
