About this Event
Be United is proud to present SOULSTICE - an immersive live music event set to kick off this year’s summer. The event is created by the emerging talent from Be United’s 2026 Producing the Future (PTF) cohort, a training programme for young people entering the events industry. This is the first PTF programme to run in Glasgow, and the event will take place on Sunday, 21 June at 18 Candleriggs, featuring some of Scotlands most exciting up-and-coming artists.
SOULSTICE is a love letter to the feelings that summer brings, from warmth and joy to new beginnings and spontaneous adventure. We are inviting you into a vibrant space to share culture, joy, and celebrate the start of summer. SOULSTICE will bring the community together for a night rooted in rhythm, culture and art.
Our line-up:
Touching on genres such as neo soul, reggae/dub and many more, Chelsea K and The Band encourage listeners to move freely, breathe deeply and let the music take you where you need to go. With amazing musicians helping create this sound such as Ringu on backing vocals, T-Kidd on guitar and vocals, ACE V!S!ON on bass guitar and Sam on drums. Chelsea K and the Band will bring interdimensional sounds and harmonies to celebrate this year's summer solstice.
Kozyeli will fill the stage with hip-hop tunes that encourage and inspire authenticity in oneself, positivity, transparency, alchemy and open-mindedness. These ideals reflect in their flow, word play, and beat selection. Expect sparkly melodies, big boy drums, big girl bars and big energy.
Dromon is an Afrobeat artist making smooth melodic music with calm energy and effortless vibes. Lowkey but memorable, his sound blends rhythm, emotion and confidence
Be United and this event is supported by Creative Scotland through The Multi-Year Funding Programme, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, which also contributes to our work, alongside The Robertson Trust that specifically supports our Producing the Future programme.
Be United invites their community — and the wider public — to discover Scotland’s emerging talent, from musical artists to the next generation of event producers.
