Congolese Entrepreneurs Forum

The Congolese Entrepreneurs Forum in Dallas was established on January 12, 2019, under the leadership of Ici et Ailleurs LLC, in collaboration with the Congolese community in Dallas.

This first edition, marked by strong collaboration between the two entities, aimed to bring together entrepreneurs from the Congolese diaspora in the United States with a common goal: to contribute to the economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo by fostering investments and skill transfer.

The inaugural forum was a great success, with the participation of many entrepreneurs from the American diaspora, several of whom later chose to return and invest in the DRC. This momentum confirmed the key role that diasporas can play in the economic development of their home countries.

After a forced pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we took the time to restructure. Five years later, we are back with the 2024 Congolese Entrepreneurs Forum in Washington, a flagship event organized by Ici et Ailleurs LLC, Imany Capital Investment, Ici et Ailleurs LLC, Kin Kulture in collaboration with the DRC Embassy/Washington DC.
This annual forum aims to promote economic exchanges between the DRC and the United States, while showcasing the talents, businesses, and innovative projects from the Congolese diaspora.

For this edition, the Ivorian community will be honored, highlighting their entrepreneurial spirit and contributions to fostering economic collaboration between Africa and the United States.
