About this Event
In support of Victims and Survivor of Crimes Week, the Digital Sexual Violence Support Centre (DSVSC) is hosting an in-person conference to gather survivors, academics, legal professionals, educators, healers, and community advocates to share promising practices and co-develop meaningful strategies to support adults who have experienced techhnology-facilitated sexual violence (TFSV) in Canada.
The main themes of the conference will address barriers to accessing justice, raise awareness of victim services and improve social service providersβ responses to handling instances of TFSV in Canada.
We look forward to welcoming attendees with varying levels of knowledge and awareness of TFSV and we intend on fostering a discursive space that celebrates intellectual curiosity, compassion, and open-mindedness. Β
This conference is funded by the Department of Justice Canada for Victims and Survivors of Crime Week
