Just one evening a year, the Shriver House comes to life for this unique, living history re-enactment. While tour guides tell the Shrivers' story, visitors can also expect to:- Stand just feet from soldiers firing out of the attic
- Hear from Ms. Hettie and friends as the battle draws near
- Learn what it was like for surgeons and nurses to treat wounded soldiers
- Sip a cool root beer in the saloon
...and more!
This event sells out every year, so advance tickets are encouraged. Tours take approximately 45 minutes and begin at 5 p.m.
