The Cats have invited Under Cover and Otis From Reading to join them for a full-on night of feline frolics (with the odd expletive thrown in!), as we cement our place in Sheffield's music scene with our EP release "Nine Lives". Meow!
Originally a tight-knit punk three-piece, Concrete Cats evolved in 2024 into a seven-piece punk-infused rock band. With a sharp interplay of sax, keys, and dual male and female vocals, they inject a raw, rebellious spirit into their joyful, colourful sound.
On stage, Concrete Cats bursts with high-energy punk rock, as the band channels an electrifying synergy. Dee’s dynamic front presence, alongside Mel’s guitar fire, and the lively sax duo, keeps the crowd dancing and engaged from start to finish.
Having sold out gigs in Sheffield in 2025 the Cats hope to spread the love further afield in 2026 with their EP "Nine Lives" launch.
