Concerts on the Slope presents: Larsen-Choi Duo

To kick off the new year, Artistic Director Benjamin Larsen and his wife, Hyungjin Choi, present a program of works spanning centuries. Beginning with Bach’s G Major Gamba Sonata, they move on to Bohuslav Martinu’s first cello sonata, then to a brief, seldom performed portrait by Virgil Thomson. To wrap up the afternoon, Mendelssohn’s brilliantly exuberant Sonata in D Major will put a smile on your faces.
