Newly formed duo by violinist Inês Alves F. Soares and pianist Baichuan Hui ( from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) warmly invite you to their debut concert at the Scottish Arts Club. In this rich programme, the duo presents works by Mozart, Lutosławski, Judith Weir, and James MacMillan, which are connected through their rhythmic vitality, expressive intensity, and richly distinctive sound worlds. Featuring works by composers from various generations, the duo will also play a work newly composed by Royal Conservatoire of Scotland composer, Andrew Jacob, bringing a fresh contemporary voice to an evening of energy and atmosphere.
