Emerging in the Amsterdam jazz scene, Simone Don developed her unique sultry and edgy vocals with compelling melodies and infusions of neo soul, jazz and RnB. She sings about her adventures and personal growth, reflects upon the world and seduces you to get carried away in her lust for the good life and rich fantasy, with a bitter humorous edge of reality. Her most important influences are Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Masego and Amy Winehouse.

Octave LISSNER, a French singer-songwriter and performer, was born on June 30, 1993, in Paris. Introduced to music at the age of 6 with the violin, he later explored both acoustic and electric guitar. As a music-loving teenager, he formed a rock band while in boarding school, beginning his journey as a singer and musician.

D uring the open mic, 6 more shortlisted musicians can showcase their own songs after the concert. Please sign up with a musician ticket for this event if you want to perform and bring with you your instruments. We will have a capacity of maximum 6 musicians, 1-2 songs per musician.

Location: Meatless District

Time: Doors open at 6 pm. We start playing around 7 pm.
