Guest Speaker: Carmen Domingo
Dr. Carmen Domingo, dean of the College of Science & Engineering (CoSE) at San Francisco State University, is the first woman to be appointed to the position. As a Latina scientist, Dean Domingo is part of a select group nationwide: Only 3 percent of U.S. higher education administrators are Hispanic/Latino. She joined SFSU's Department of Biology in 1997 and has been dean since 2017.

Commencement Speaker: Katie Hafner
Katie Hafner is an accomplished journalist and author. Hafner served on staff at The New York Times for ten years, where she remains a frequent contributor, writing on healthcare and technology. In addition to her journalism career, Hafner has authored several books, including "Cyberpunk: Outlaws and Hackers on the Computer Frontier" and "Where Wizards Stay Up Late: The Origins of the Internet."
