About this Event

Hello

Compass Charter School will host several tours for prospective families for the 2026-2027 school year. We invite interested families to sign up for one tour. Tours are not required before applying for admission to Compass, yet taking a tour helps prospective families see our school model in action and learn more about what makes Compass such a special place.

During Prospective Family Tours, families will be given the opportunity to learn about our progressive education philosophy, intentionally diverse school model, and our inquiry-based curriculum. Prospective families will also take a tour of our learning spaces, including our classrooms and studios. Each tour will end with a question and answer session.

Registration Required

Registration is required to attend a tour. Please register for the number of adults who will attend. Because we are inviting visitors into our school during the school day, we limit the number of visitors for each tour. All visitors must sign up ahead of time and sign in at the school safety desk.

Day of Tour Info

Tours will begin promptly at 9:30AM and will end at 10:30AM.

All tours will begin in Room 429, which we call our Community Room.

On the day of the tour, please bring your ticket and a photo ID, which will be needed to enter the school building.

Please plan to arrive at 9:15AM to allow time to check in with school safety and make your way upstairs to the fourth floor. An elevator is available for those who need it.

Tour Etiquette

Please sign up for only one tour date and do your best to come to the tour you signed up for. If you plan to bring your partner or another grownup, please sign up for that person as well.

Cancellation

If you are unable to attend your schedueld tour, please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite and email Brooke (Co-Founder/Executive Director) at [email protected]. Canceled tickets will be given to families on the tour waitlist.

Tour Waitlist

Tours often fill up quickly. If all tours are full, please complete THIS FORM to be added to our tour waitlist. We will offer additional tickets as they become available.

Apply to Compass

Applications for grades Pre-K through 6th Grade for the 2026-2027 school year will open on October 13th, 2025. To be included in the lottery for the 2026-2027 school year, applications must be submitted by April 1st, 2026. The link to apply to Compass is HERE.

Families are not required to take a tour before applying to the school, yet it is highly recommended. Additional tours for accepted families will be offered after our lottery in April.

If you'd like to apply for the waitlist for this school year (2025-2026), please click HERE.

Looking forward to sharing our school with you!
