About this Event
Session 1 asked: what is Physical AI, and what does it demand of us?
Session 2 picks up that thread and brings it into the room where much of the Comparing Notes community can relate: trying to figure out whether, and how, to act on Physical AI.
This session is built around the SME perspective: not the frontier lab or the large corporation with a dedicated AI department and dozens (or hundreds) of AI use cases, but the organisation that is curious, cautious, and trying to make realistic decisions.
The appliedAI Institute shapes the conversation around what practical, trustworthy AI implementation looks like, drawing on real use cases, applied research, and an honest look at the numbers.
For those who missed Session 1: a short framing statement at the opening covers the essentials: what Physical AI is and what Session 1, hosted by our co-organisers TUM Think Tank, explored.
Core questions:
- Which sectors are seeing real traction with Physical AI right now?
- Where can SMEs realistically start, and what might the first steps look like?
- What does it cost, and when does it pay off?
- What does trustworthy Physical AI mean, specifically, for an SME (not large platform companies and corporates)?
