VRIJDAG 17 APRIL — join us in Rotterdam for a Community Gathering
Afrikan Books is launching a new concept: ‘The Community Library’. With this concept we are creating a free library, with only books written by black authors. Our aim is to circulate books (read knowledge) within the community. We are making this free, because knowledge should be accessible to everyone.

As we speak, we are preparing our new space in Rotterdam for our library. And we need your help! We want to add as many books written by black authors as possible! Do you have a book at home you just finished reading, or just sitting on your shelf? Are you a beginning writer and do you want to share your work with the community? Bring your book(s), so we can add them to our library! Our goal is to create one big library, built together with the community.

Don't worry if you don't have any books to donate. We want to welcome you to celebrate the opening with us on the 17th of april! And feel free to bring a friend.
