About this Event
This session will focus on the dedicated support available to veterans, reservists, and their families across Merseyside and how no one has to navigate life after service alone.
This informative and community-focused session is ideal for veterans, family members, professionals, or anyone wanting to better understand the challenges faced after military service and the local support available.
About Veterans in Sefton
Veterans in Sefton is an independent charity founded in 2014 by Dave Smith and Steve Calderbank, both bringing lived military experience and a strong commitment to supporting others.
The charity was created to provide dedicated, local support for veterans, reservists, and their families adjusting to life beyond the Armed Forces. Since then, it has grown into a trusted organisation rooted in honesty, professionalism, and camaraderie values shaped by military culture and community spirit.
Veterans in Sefton supports individuals with housing, wellbeing, employment guidance, and opportunities to reconnect with community life, always guided by the belief that no veteran should feel isolated or unsupported.
