Community Volunteer Day at Frank Banfield Park

Join us for an afternoon of hands‑on environmental volunteering at Frank Banfield Park!
We’ll be improving the park’s green spaces, learning practical horticultural skills, and making a real difference to the local environment.

🌿 Activities

• Welcome, introduction, and health & safety briefing
• PPE and tool hand‑out
• Litter picking and spot weeding
• Digging out a Yew hedgerow in the incorrect position
• Relocating and replanting the hedging plants

🧰 What to Bring / Wear

Please come prepared for outdoor work and variable weather:

• Hard‑wearing outdoor footwear (Steel toe‑caps ideal, Walking boots or wellies acceptable)
• Plenty of warm layers
• Waterproof coat and trousers (if available)
• Water bottle
• Lots of energy!
