Our annual Sustainable Summer Fayre is here! And it is for everyone – community, students and staff alike. All FREE except for the gift stalls and preloved clothes.
This year we will be at the Student Union so will have both indoor and outdoor spaces to use. Come and celebrate this fabulous community of ours and join in with the sharing of clothes and summer games, skills and expertise, live music and a plant-based bbq. And help us share ideas for the best, most affordable and sustainable summer holidays!
You will be able to enjoy:
- Preloved summer clothes sale (£1) and swap
- Free summer toy/ games, camping gear, picnic & beach items, for all ages
- Kids craft corner
- Live music & FREE food
- Tombola
- Locally and sustainably made gifts, jewellery, accessories & more for sale
- Sustainable Fashion & Upcycling Display (+ free fabric to take away)
- Learn how to mend, upcycle, (re)design clothes, crochet, lino print & knit
- Free garden tool advice and repair
- Free bike maintenance, basic repairs & advice
- Sustainable travel ideas – bring photo of your favourite local places to visit
- Free seeds & seedlings + veg growing advice
We will also be fundraising for our Fulfil a Wish initiative. We are collaborating again with the St Andrews Storehouse Foodbank to fund ‘summer wishes’ requested by their customers, for example for meals out or visits to local attractions.
