After our disaster a year ago with the large snowstorm, we came up with a lesson learned that we needed help with sheltering in our cities across the county. We are now offering a class to get some training in opening said shelters. If you feel that you could assist with this, or your civic organization may like to help with this, please join us at our training April 16th, 2026 from six to 8:30 in the basement of the Courthouse, Abilene, Kansas.
