Amorino Park Planting Day 2026Date: Sunday 24 May
Time: 10am – 1pm
Meeting Point: Walkway between 32 & 36 Amorino Drive, Red Beach
Join us for a hands-on morning of planting native trees, shrubs, and grasses to help restore the beautiful Amorino Park — and bring your whānau, friends, and neighbours too! Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
This year, we’ll be adding hundreds more native plants to a site first planted in 2022. Thanks to the efforts of local volunteers, a once-boggy patch of park is transforming into vibrant native bush, with stunning views over the Orewa River.
Over the past few years, community planting days at Amorino Park have drawn fantastic support — and with your help, we’re continuing that legacy!
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or it's your first time planting, we'd love to see you there!
🧤 What to bring:
Gardening gloves
Water bottle and snacks
Sturdy shoes or boots
Weather-appropriate clothing
A clean spade (if you have one — we’ll have extras too!)
