The struggle for justice and to defend our immigrant neighbors continues! ICE poses an ongoing threat to our community and we must work together to stop them from kidnapping working people and separating families. Following the historic general strike in Minneapolis and the January 30th nationwide shutdown, we must learn from our successes and continue to build the movement locally to get ICE out of Lane County, Oregon and EVERYWHERE!
Join us on March 12th at 6:00pm at First Christian Church for a Lane County Immigrant Defense Network community organizing meeting to find your place in the movement and get involved with our ongoing initiatives including neighborhood canvassing, street actions, community education, the statewide Day without an Immigrant campaign leading up to May 1 (next day of action: March 16th) and more!
