A full day workshop, led by our experienced Peak District Music Centres music directors, working on music from Stravinsky's epic Firebird Suite, as part of the Buxton Festival Fringe. The day will finish with a short sharing session. There will also be tea/coffee and cake! This event is for adults and children, playing at Grade 4 standard or above. It's a great chance for parents to play alongside their children, but we'd also love other local musicians to join us.
Free for children. For Adults, a small suggested charitable donation of £10 per person would be greatly appreciated to cover the costs of the day.
We expect to have parts for the following instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Percussion, Piano (maximum 1 player), Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass.
