About this Event
Every Wednesday evening over the summer months we welcome you to join us at our nursery in Kelvin Heights to pot up young seedlings. Not only is it a lovely spot to enjoy the evening sun, it is a great opportunity to meet people, learn about native plants and make a meaningful contribution to local conservation efforts. Volunteers grow 10,000 plants every year at the nursery with 135,000 planted locally to date...and counting!! So whether you are a keen local or just passing through, you too can be part of the momentum.
The tasks are light and no experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get your hands dirty.
Note - if you are new to the area, this part of the peninsular is a great place to visit with lovely walks and lakeshore nearby. Feel free to bring a picnic dinner and make the most of the stunning surrounds.
