· Want to support the local food pantry and feed families in need?
· Willing to try gardening if you were provided with seeds, seedlings, a teacher, and space/bed to grow things?
Where: Christ Lutheran Community Garden, 1222 Vocke Rd. LaVale, MD.
Claim a waist high wheelchair accessible bed or large raised bed! Tools, seedlings, and seeds provided, or bring your own!
Gardeners are available most Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings throughout the summer to assist as needed.
Unclaimed community beds will be planted to support the local food pantry. Beds are awarded on a first come first serve basis beginning.
When: Planting begins with a Spring Cleanup and Planting Day, May 2! Planting continues with Summer Planting Day, May 16! The opening of this year’s garden will be on June 6!
All events will begin at 9:00 am.
