About this Event
The Community for Belonging Reading Group, an initiative open to all Daniels Faculty students, alumni, faculty and staff, returns this fall with the theme: Reclaiming Place and Identity in Urban Diasporas.
Participants will read , a new book by Assistant Professor Erica Allen-Kim, and by Daniel Innes (illustrations) and Christina Wong (text).
Limited copies of the books are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis in the Eberhard Zeidler Library starting Monday, September 23.
To receive a copy of the book, you must be registered for the event. Note: Recipients of the free copies are expected to attend and participate in the discussions. If you received a free copy and are no longer able to attend the discussion, kindly return the book to the Library.
Daniels faculty, students, staff and alumni are invited to attend both the walking tour and the discussion–participants do not need to have read the books to participate in the walking tour.
The Community for Belonging Reading Group is sponsored by U of T Affinity Partners, Manulife and TD Insurance.
