The Museum of South Texas History with UT Austin will host "Community Day: Flood Awareness," a free event that will feature educational and hands-on activities related to flooding disasters.Families are encouraged to attend. Free admission until 2 p.m.
Activities included are:
- Forecasting the weather with CBS 4 Weathercaster Craig Verley.
- Scavenger hunts.
- Food preparation with Dr. Andrea Valdez from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
- Information by Hidalgo County Drainage District.
