About this Event

🌿 Community Cuddles: A Gathering for Healing, Connection & Consent

Something happens when humans touch each other with care and consent. Nervous systems settle. Loneliness loosens its grip. Something that was braced begins to soften.

Community Cuddles exists to make space for that β€” a structured, welcoming environment for platonic, consensual touch, built on clear agreements and genuine care for everyone in the room.

Whether you're craving connection, curious to see what it's like, or just ready to feel a little less alone in your body β€” you're welcome here. You'll never be required to touch anyone. Simply showing up is enough.

πŸ’› What to Expect

πŸ•‘ 2:30 PM – Arrival & Setup
Settle in, help prepare the space with blankets and pillows, share snacks, and get comfortable.

πŸ•’ 2:45 PM – Welcome Circle (Required for all participants)
We’ll open the event with grounding, introductions, and a consent and boundaries workshop. This is where we practice how to ask for β€” and give β€” clear, verbal β€œyes” or β€œno” responses.
(If you’d like, you can attend just the Welcome Circle β€” no touch required.)

πŸ•“ 3:45 – 5:30 PM – Open Cuddling
Once the container is set, we enter open cuddle time. You may cuddle, sit quietly, or simply observe β€” all choices are valid. Remember: you must ask and receive a verbal β€œyes” before touching anyone.

πŸ•  5:30 – 5:45 PM – Closing Circle
We’ll wrap up by sharing reflections and gratitude before packing up together.

πŸ•• 5:45 – 6:00 PM – Clean Up & Goodbyes
Help fold blankets, finish snacks, and say farewell (or plan your next cuddle adventure!).

🌸 Event Guidelines

Arrive on Time:
Please arrive before the Welcome Circle β€” this ensures everyone understands the rules and feels safe. You may leave anytime after.

Come Clean & Scent-Free:
Shower, brush your teeth, and skip perfumes, essential oils, and smoke smells. Your natural, clean self is perfect.

Stay Sober:
No drugs or alcohol before or during the event.

Dress Comfortably:
Think cozy, not sexy β€” pajamas, sweatpants, or yoga clothes. Please remain clothed (at least shorts and a t-shirt) throughout.

Bring:
Snacks to share (optional), blankets, pillows, or anything that helps you feel cozy. The only required thing to bring is a clean, sober you.

πŸ’¬ Cuddling with Strangers?

It’s normal to feel nervous! You might wonder:

  • β€œWhat if I don’t want to be touched?”
  • β€œWhat if I say yes and change my mind?”
  • β€œWhat if someone says no to me?”

All of that is okay. This is a space to practice asking for what you want and saying no when you need to. You’ll never be pressured to touch anyone β€” ever. Most people arrive a little anxious and leave feeling peaceful, joyful, and deeply connected.

πŸ‘ Our Community Guidelines

(Inspired by the principles of CuddleParty.com)

  1. The event is always non-sexual β€” in words, energy, and behavior.
  2. Speak up or move if you feel uncomfortable β€” for any reason.
  3. Clothes stay on at all times.
  4. You never have to touch anyone.
  5. Ask permission and receive a clear verbal β€œyes” before touching.
  6. β€œYes” means yes, β€œNo” means no, and β€œMaybe” means no for now.
  7. You can change your mind anytime.
  8. All emotions β€” laughter, tears, stillness β€” are welcome.
  9. Respect everyone’s privacy outside the event.
  10. Keep the cuddle space tidy. No one likes to cuddle in a puddle!

This is a Community Cuddles event (not an official CuddleParty.com gathering). To find certified Cuddle Parties, visit CuddleParty.com.

πŸ•‘: 02:45 PM
Welcome Circle

Info: (required for all new participants, encouraged for everyone)
We open every event with grounding, introductions, and a hands-on consent and boundaries workshop. This is where we practice asking for what we want and giving clear, verbal yeses and nos. It's also where most people start to relax.

πŸ•‘: 03:45 PM
Open Cuddle Time

Info: The container is set β€” now we explore. Cuddle, sit quietly, move around the room, or simply observe. All choices are welcome. Remember: ask first then wait for a clear verbal yes before any touch.

πŸ•‘: 05:30 PM
Closing Circle

Info: We come back together to share reflections and gratitude. This is a great place to feel how much your mood has changed from the stressed and nervous to happy, connected, and proud of yourself.

πŸ•‘: 05:45 PM
Clean Up & Goodbyes

Info: Help fold blankets, finish the snacks, and say your farewells β€” or make plans to see each other again. There is often a group outing for dinner and conversation afterwards. New people are very welcome to join in at this casual gathering. Food is optional. Many people find this outing to be a nice bridge between the structured cuddle event and the 'normal world'.
