Join us for a very special edition of Creative Saturdays with artist Natasha Bowdoin! Natasha Bowdoin’s site-specific art installation "Spring Song" was the inspiration for this year’s Community Created, an annual project built for educators, educational partners, and students.AMFA is committed to offering arts programming to every community across the state. AMFA provides free curriculum materials and programming to thousands of Arkansans to engage with art and artists. Since August of 2023, hundreds of schools and community organizations have studied and created art for Community Created and now it’s time to bring the project to the Museum!
All young artists who were involved in Community Created this school year are invited to add their artwork to the public installation in the Courtyard. Guests of all ages and skill levels are welcome to create their own works of art and contribute to the installation during a free art-making activity led by Natasha herself.
