Community Conversations with Emory Parkinson’s Disease Researchers
Join Parkinson's disease researchers at Emory University for the 16th annual Udall Center Community Conversations event on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. The event will be held at Emory’s Brain Health Center (click 'Show map' above under 'Location'). Registration opens at 8:30 am.
The 2026 event will feature a series of discussions in which groups of attendees will have the opportunity to discuss current Parkinson’s disease research topics with Emory scientists. This year's topics will include:
- Young Onset Parkinson's Disease
- Hospitalization in People with Parkinson's Disease
- Update on Current Udall Center Parkinson's Disease Research
The group sessions will be followed by a lunchtime panel discussion featuring representatives from the American Parkinson Disease Assocation, Michael J. Fox Foundation, and the Parkinson's Foundation. The panelists will cover topics related to:
- Parkinson's disease funding
- Legislative actions regarding Parkinson's disease
- Ways you can become an advocate
The event is free, but registration is required because seating is limited. Lunch will be provided, and free parking is available close to the meeting location.
This program will be supported by the American Parkinson Disease Association, the Parkinson’s Foundation, and the Parkinson's Disease Movement Disorders Program at Emory University.
