About this Event
Every year the History Department hosts a graduation event for History Majors / Minors called Commensa. This year's event will be May 19th from 4:30-7 here at SFState, Jack Adams Hall. This is a FREE event wherein we celebrate our scholarship winners and graduating class. Family, friends, faculty, and donors will be in attendance.
We eat, we visit, we celebrate. It is a really nice time and a day that I look forward to every year.
If you have not yet applied for graduation, I will have no way of knowing that you are graduating, so it is imperative that you 1) apply to graduate! 2) continue to check your email during the semester.
All graduates who wish to attend Commensa should RSVP as soon as possible. YOU need to RSVP. If there is a name on the list that is not a SFState student, then the RSVP cannot be honored.
The first round of RSVPs will allow you to reserve up to three seats - that's you + 2 guests - FREE. IF there are more seats available, I make them available to those who have already RSVP'd.
Regalia is NOT required (although you may wear it if you wish). This is a truly free event. With food. And a dessert cart.
