About this Event
With the world in crisis, maybe it has never been so important for us to connect with our purpose with joy and fulfilment.. And yet, it can be so difficult to find our way through the noise and chaos of modern life.
I invite you on a transformational journey with me through the seasons, to explore Coming back to Life together in a beautiful woodland setting, both outdoors and indoors, with different artist collaborators joining us each month.
We will go deep into our creativity and imagination, to access an inner world where anything is possible, that will resource us richly. We will seek to lovingly let go of the limits our culture has instilled in us, and experience more freedom and a path forward illuminated. We will practise experiencing the universe as a connected entity of dynamic energy instead of elements in isolation, allowing our mindsets to shift and new possibilities to open up.
This work is based on The Work That Reconnects and the books 'Active Hope' and 'Coming back to Life' by Joanna Macy, my own professional Life Coaching experience and trainings, the work of our Artist collaborators throughout the programme, and direct wisdom from the natural world, both human and more-than-human. Creative practices and nature-based skills will be woven through our sessions, such as crafting, working with fire, movement, singing, drawing, storytelling, imagination and writing, and for some of these you will have choice in what practice feels good for you for the exercise we are doing.

If you are unsure about whether this is for you or not, this might be helpful... I asked some previous participants in different sessions I have hosted to describe them, and here are a few of the reponses.
“It gives a holistic perspective on the big and small things that matter in life, bringing them together as we journey through fears we have to face and dreams we can reignite, learning slowly to connect with others through common struggle, peace and shame, and working to discard things which no longer serve us so that we can feel forward movement.”
“The creative side of the course really appealed to me as well as the other content. To have an opportunity to express yourself through art, dance, writing.. added another dimension to it.”
“Róisín supported the group to feel relaxed, nurtured, connected and safe to go deep in our explorations of gratitude, inner pain and actions we can take to live lives that have more meaning. In the days following the workshop I found myself asking the questions "What will matter most at the end of my one wild and precious life?" and "What am I so afraid of?" Amazing how a well facilitated workshop can achieve so much in terms of refocusing and re-energising. We need more of this."
“The course was great - good content and well facilitated. I liked the break-outs, the finishing statements and the overall nurturing approach. Great variety of exercises.”
I hope this helps!
