About this Event
Fáilte go Comhrá, Craic is Cúram: creative community day with Little Ireland Arts Collective in The Salisbury Centre. LIAC is excited to invite you to a day of Irish bilingual workshops, conversations 'as Gaeilge', nurturing and creative sessions, a wee bit of arán donn and of course - 'craic go leor'!
(ENGLISH BELOW) Beidh ceardlanna teanga, ciorcal comh-éisteachta, club leabhair sa Ghaeilge, ceardlanna ceoil is Gàidhlig agus blaisín bia againn le chéile san ionad álainn Salisbury. Cuir feabhas ar do chúpla focal; bain triall as Gàidhlig na hAlban; déan iarracht an feadóg stáin a sheinm no fonn nua a fhoghlaim agus - an rud is tábhachtaí - bain taitneamh as an imeacht. Táimid ag tnúth go mór leis an lá. Bígí inár gcuideachta!
Top up your Irishness whether trying out the tin whistle, reading some exciting new literature 'as Gaeilge', diving into the listening circle or exploring our sister-language, Scottish Gaelic. The afternoon is designed to nurture conversations on what being Irish in Scotland can bring to our lives and most of all, to nurture friendships among the vibrant and ever-growing Irish community in Edinburgh.
Táimid ag tnúth go mór leis an lá. We're looking forward to the day and we can't wait to have your company!
