No masking, no expectations. Just a space to exist, connect.
About this Event
Comfortably Chaotic Collective is a peer community group for neurodivergent adults.
It exists to offer connection without pressure, performance, or expectation.
This Portsmouth meet-up is not networking, not a workshop, and not a support group.
It’s simply a space to be around people who get it.
You don’t need to be confident.
You don’t need to introduce yourself.
You don’t need to explain your diagnosis or your life.
You can come and chat.
You can come and sit quietly.
You can come, feel a bit awkward, and leave early.
All of that is completely okay here.
This group is for people who:
- Feel socially burnt out
- Are tired of masking or performing
- Want connection but find structured groups overwhelming
- Just want to exist alongside others who understand neurodivergence
There’s no agenda, no forced conversation, and no expectation to share anything personal. Conversation happens naturally, or not at all. Both are valid.
This is a peer-led community space, built on shared experience rather than advice, fixing, or productivity. You don’t need to bring anything except yourself.
If you’ve ever wanted community without the pressure to be “on”, this space was made with you in mind.
The room for this meet-up is on a lower floor and can only be accessed by stairs, so it isn’t wheelchair accessible. I know this will mean some people aren’t able to attend, and I’m really sorry about that.
Accessibility matters a lot to Comfortably Chaotic, and future meet-ups will aim to use more accessible spaces wherever possible.
If you’re unsure whether the venue will work for you, or you have other access needs you’d like to ask about, feel free to message before booking.
