Join us for the Comfort Shawl Circle, a heart-centered community gathering where creativity, compassion, and connection come together in a meaningful way.
This circle is open to everyone — no experience required. Whether you knit, crochet, or have never picked up a hook or needle before, you are warmly welcome. If you’d like to learn, we will teach you. If you already have experience, we invite you to share your skills and be part of something deeply purposeful.
Together, we create comfort shawls — hand-knit or crocheted shawls lovingly infused with intention, prayer, and healing energy. These shawls are gifted to individuals facing illness, grief, emotional overwhelm, or difficult life transitions, offering them warmth, comfort, and a tangible reminder that they are not alone.
This is more than crafting. It is a circle of care.
Each stitch becomes an act of kindness.
Each shawl becomes a symbol of love.
At our first gathering, we will:
🧶 Learn about the tradition and meaning behind comfort and prayer shawls
🧶 Explore shawl styles, yarn choices, and tool options
🧶 Share how completed shawls will be gifted to those in need
🧶 Discuss how often we will gather to continue our shawl projects
You are welcome to choose a shawl pattern and begin working at this first circle. Pattern ideas, guidance, and support will be provided, and you’ll leave knowing exactly what to bring for future gatherings.
