We bring you a special night of laughter with amazing names making waves in the comedy circuit. We are incredibly excited to be bringing this amazing line-up of acts to The Gipsy Queen.

Paul Pirie, Don Biswas and Esther Manito

Paul Pirie:
Paul Pirie began his stand-up career quickly establishing himself on the Scottish comedy circuit. With a driving force for achievement Paul worked his way into the London clubs and was launched onto the UK comedy scene, emerging as one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK comedy circuit. Paul's career has encompassed TV, Film and Radio alongside his burgeoning skill as a stand-up. His hilarity and comedic ability has earned him huge popularity with comedy goers and bookers across the world, gigging as far abroad as Australia and for diverse audiences such as The Armed Forces. Paul Pirie is a unique, vibrant comedian who appears regularly at all the main comedy clubs in the UK.
Don Biswas:
Don Biswas is one of the gems of the circuit. A politically charged gag merchant who likes to cover a wide range of subjects including his Asian upbringing, his neurodiversity as someone with dyspraxia, ADHD, and ASD and even the most important of topics.. conspiracy theories. Don has gained huge admiration off all corners of the circuit.
Don is now a regular face in comedy clubs across the UK. Alongside that Don recently recorded a comedy special for BBC Radio 4 entitled ‘Neurotopical’ and has appeared on Radio 4’s 13 Million Club, Rosie Jones’s Boxticker as well as UKTV Digitals Rosie Jones’s Disabled Comedy Extravaganza and BBC Onlines Future Food Stars
His unique style has seen him support John Williams on tour, perform in the USA (Silicon Valley & New York) & Switzerland
Esther Manito:
Esther Manito began performing stand-up around 2016 following a six-week writing course at London's Camden Comedy School. She was the first female comedian to perform at Dubai Opera House, a regional finalist in 2017's Funny Women Awards, and was a finalist in the 2019 Arab British Center's Award for Culture.
She debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe with her show Crusade in 2019. Her second full length show, #notallmen, won Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2021. She also performed #notallmen at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022. She debuted at Live at the Apollo in December 2021. She has appeared on podcasts including Evil Genius with Russell Kane, and Parenting Hell with Josh Widdicombe and Rob Beckett.
