Comedy Oakland is the Bay Area’s longest-running independent stand-up comedy show, delivering live comedy in Oakland since 2009. Voted “Best Comedy Night” in the East Bay Express Readers’ Poll from 2016-2025, we present a rotating lineup of local and touring comedians - industry pros, rising stars, and diverse voices shaping today’s comedy scene. Our performers have appeared on TV and radio, performed at major comedy festivals and leading comedy clubs, and taken the stage across the country and around the world.
Unlike traditional comedy clubs, there are no drink minimums and no hidden fees. No tolls required for a great night of live stand-up. Free street parking is typically available nearby. Comedian-owned and comedian-run, Comedy Oakland has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, ABC7, KPFA 94.1FM, SF Examiner, and East Bay Express.
From the waterfront to Broadway nights, Comedy Oakland is where the Bay Area comes to laugh.
