Mindfool Entertainment is an independent community-focused production company located in Vancouver, BC.
Since it was established in 2023, its creative team has produced four short films most of which were selected for screening at local and international festivals (and one is currently in the post-production stage).
Their passion is bringing the community together and telling stories about human experience to make the world a better place.
Tatiana Alexeeva is a Canadian actor, writer and producer of Russian origin based in Vancouver, BC. She is a passionate filmmaker and the founder of the production company Mindfool Entertainment Ltd. She studied acting and film production in Langara College, Railtown Actor Studio, BARD studio, Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts and Vancouver Action Training Studio.
Tatiana has always been drawn to the arts. She loves to paint, draw, and play a couple of musical instruments (beginner level). Still, she has never felt fully satisfied with any particular art form — that is before she discovered acting and filmmaking! This is the art form she wants to pursue from now on as it includes every possible other one, as well as an intensely rewarding and challenging collaboration work with other artists.
Apart from acting, producing, writing and editing films and videos, Tatiana can sometimes be found working on set as a boom operator.
Eugene Aglushevich is a Russian filmmaker and visual artist now based in Vancouver, Canada.
Eugene's creative works range from commercials and music videos to performance art, documentary, and narrative films.
He is interested in the likes to explore the topics of belonging, discovery of meaning in everyday things, and search for a common language.
Eugene truly believes in the transformative power of visual art. He is dedicated to creating artworks that facilitate social change and create an impact, no matter how small it is.
Cristina Karolys is a writer, visual artist and filmmaker, with experience in Production Design and Art Direction.
She is passionate about producing visual and narrative universes and has worked on a wide range of film, television and advertisement productions.
She has addressed people from the most diverse backgrounds as it is her passion to develop initiatives that contribute to building an empathetic, healthy and engaging community.
For her, it’s all about respecting our cultural beliefs and practices. Variety is what makes this, a wonderful world.
