We’re turning up the weird dial for our first standup show of 2026 at The Together Lounge in Consett!4th of April, Doors @ 7pm - Tickets only a fiver! DM The Together Lounge, or give them a ring at +44 7477 562 319
Headlining the chaos: Jack & Sam. Officially Chester-le-Street’s third best double act. Unofficially? A surreal fever dream in matching trainers. These two have built a cult following through Silly Billies Comedy, sold out Live Theatre and Alphabetti Theatre, and leave audiences clapping like they’ve just witnessed something historic… or at least mildly unhinged.
Chris Cantrill calls them “hilarious, inventive and infectiously joyful.”
The Stand says they “absolutely killed it.”
Translation: your serotonin is about to get drop-kicked into orbit.
Opening the night is Pheebs Stephenson; award-winning chaos gremlin energy in human form. Winner of the Best in Class Marie Goulbourne Award 2025, Beat the Frog World Series Semi-Finalist 2025, and heard on BBC Radio. Expect outrageous anecdotes, pit-yacker patter, and punchlines sharper than their eyeliner.
Pheebs reckons they're the North East’s quirkiest little weirdo? Self-proclaimed. But also… fair.
Holding the whole thing together with duct tape and shoddy accents is Tom Scott. North East New Act of the Year Finalist 2025. “Brilliant self-deprecating gags” – Shy Bairns. “Relatable and grounded” – The Stand, Newcastle. Grounded is generous. I’ll take it!
Plus three more North East comics bringing the goods.
Tickets are £5. Yes, five actual great british pounds. DM the venue to grab yours before someone more organised than you does.
