About this Event
Using the money we raised through our 2026 umbrella project, we are putting on a special workshop to help adults learn more about their child with ADHD!
This session is aimed at carers of children with ADHD aged between 6-11.
Parenting a child with ADHD can feel exhausting and confusing — especially when their big emotions and behaviours challenge our regulation.
In this informal workshop for parents of children aged 6–11, we’ll explore how to better understand your child’s behaviour through a nervous system lens –thinking about what the ‘guard dog’ and ‘wise owl’ in their brain are doing in terms of emotion regulation and sensory needs. We’ll also look at practical ways that you can build more connection and confidence at home.
You’ll leave with compassionate insight, simple tools you can use straight away, and a renewed sense of understanding — for both your child and for yourself.
We welcome you to bring your child with you, and we will have an area set up for them to hang out.
You are also invited to spend some time in The HUB Cafe with 10% off food!
