Adaptive yoga is for every body. The practice emphasizes and activates the mind-body connection—meeting participants where they are physically, mentally, and spiritually. 'Come As You Are' is a collaboration dedicated to introducing the fortifying benefits of adaptive yoga to individuals living with trauma, loss, or disability across the region.
Whether you're a longtime practitioner or it will be your first time exploring yoga, join us for a FREE, guided session. This will be a chair-based yoga class welcoming attendees to participate from their manual or power wheelchair or use a folding chair provided by the event hosts. Attendees who prefer to practice on a mat may bring one!
The event will be underscored by a live musical soundscape by Deepak Thettu, a Billboard charting and Sirius XM Watercolors artist. Light breakfast refreshments will be provided!
