About this Event
Nationally recognized cabaret artist, KEVIN WOOD, brings his extensive experience in theater, musical theater, and opera to his engaging, poignant, and often comedic performances. Cabaret Scenes has called him “a masterful storyteller.” Stephen Moser, writing for BroadwayWorld, states that ”Kevin presents an act as a series of vignettes, personal observations, and anecdotes, an act reminiscent of those created by the likes of Charles Nelson Reilley, Imogene Coca, and Comden and Green. The entire production and every aspect of it is an example of what the classical cabaret show formula is, and why it endures to this day.”
Kevin brings his unique cabaret skill set to the music of the holidays in this two-act, extended version of his holiday show, “Bedazzled!” As he has often said, “This isn’t your mother’s holiday show!” You won’t want to miss audience favorites like “Santa Lost A Ho,” “Holiday Lament (The Fruitcake Song,” “Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire,” and many other familiar and less familiar holiday tunes! Don’t worry, he won’t ignore Hannukkah! The show will include some guest musicians and other surprises.
Besides numerous local cabaret appearances at Davenport’s, The Oil Lamp Theater (Glenview), The Skokie Theatre, The Venus Cabaret at The Mercury Theater, Borelli’s, Kevin travels frequently to perform at venues including those in New York City, NY, Ft. Please note that we do not allow outside food or drinks at Colvin Concerts.

Parking Info:
The first 15 cars can park FREE at George B. Swift Elementary school, just two blocks west of Colvin House (as space allows). Please come to Colvin House's back door (off Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit from staff who will provide further instruction.
We also recommend The Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.
Those valet rates are as follows:

· 2 Hours: $10
· 3 Hours: $11
· 4 Hours: $13
We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
