Colors of Therapy Fundraiser. Reduce the economies stress and depression rates with interactive lessons, and education on Art Therapy. Science has shown that Art Therapy benefits include fostering self-expression, enhancing coping skills, managing stress, and strengthening a sense of self. Art therapy is proven to improve the mental health of people who are dealing with addictions, anxiety, attention disorders, grief and loss, dementia, depression, eating disorders, physical illness, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues and much more. Expressive Illustrations owner, artist, experienced art educator, and curator Marriya Mobley and Sol Garden studio a health and wellness studio has dedicated thier mission to collaborate with local Philly artist, and psychologists, to create a riveting entertaining fun event on July 24, 2021 to educate people on how to relieve stress and more through different media’s of art. The Colors of Therapy Fundraiser is a health and wellness event with so much more than just that. This event is open to the public featuring a live massage therapist, fun interactive activities, performers,smoke show, animal therapy, self care station, speakers, and more geared to all ages, it’s hope is to impact as many people as possible and raise money to help improve the mental wellness of Philly’s residents and beyond. The fundraiser includes art activities , community mental health advocates along with local artists collaborating together to decrease stress level through unity, hands on lessons, networking, and the arts. In addition to a silent auction you may participate ein to help the fundraiser reach its goal.

The fundraiser not only advances everyday professionals whose stress levels are at the highest but all walks of people. Colors of Therapy mission is to ultimately educate, entertain, and improve! The raised funds will allow lower income families and overwhelmed business employees experience Free classes increasing benefits such as…. positive effect on the mental well being , improved communication skills, provoke more positive behavior, and improved cognition. Also, this year’s a portion of the proceeds will go “ THe Corner” project. A mural and mosaic we are doing collaboratively with the community to increase expression releases, and community. Hopefully eventually raising enough funds to lead to an Art Therapy space in Philly and expanding nationally. Please come and join us for our fifth annual fundraiser and one year anniversary!
