Colors of El Salvador Paint Workshop

Proceeds will go to supporting art programs in El Salvador.

Description of Workshop:

Participants will work on a painting of the Torogoz, the national bird of El Salvador. While they are working on the painting, there will be a slideshow of Salvadorean artist quotes displaying from a projector for people to incorporate the quotes into the artwork. We will briefly discuss the history of the Torogoz, what it represents, and encourage participants to use paint that is symbolic to how they are feeling in the moment to fill in the canvas.
