Event Description
Join us for a College & Career Readiness Resource Day connecting youth, adults, and families to education, workforce opportunities, and community support services.
This is a hands-on event where participants will complete applications, enroll in programs, and connect directly with workforce partners.
Representatives from the American Job Center will provide information on youth and adult employment programs, workforce training, and job opportunities.
West Tennessee Legal Services, Inc. will present information about free legal services and community legal resources.
What Participants Can Do at the Event
Participants will have access to workstations to receive help with:
- FAFSA completion
- College applications
- Scholarship applications
- Youth employment enrollment
- Adult job applications and hiring opportunities
- Resume building
- GED / HiSET adult education registration
Wraparound Support Services
Participants can also receive help applying for benefit assistance including:
- SNAP
- TennCare
- Families First
