Join professional artist and yoga teacher, Amy Kalyn Sims, for this fun and uplifting Spring collage workshop. We will gather as community to set our seeds of intention for the season of growth and renewal. We will ignite our creative spirits through movement, mantras, music and meditation. Once inspired, we will join together in the practice of mindful collage art as a method of awareness, self-expression and connection with others through shared art-making. We will journal and reflect on our experiences, with the opportunity to share our unique artworks. The afternoon will culminate with a Yin and Restorative Yoga practice to ease tension and leave participants feeling nourished and renewed.Each student will take home at least one 5” x 7” mixed media collage that can be framed or made into a greeting card. While students are encouraged to bring items from home to include in their artworks, this is not required. All supplies needed to create a finished art piece are included in the supply fee. This workshop is open to everyone. No yoga or art experience required!
